The iPhone 2.1 software update aimed to try and fix many problems iPhone 3G users were having since its launch.
The biggest problem had to do with 3G issues for iPhone users.
Since the launch of the new iPhone 3G, users have reported that they have experienced a vast array of dropped calls, lost signals, etc.
Users have reported though through e-mail to us that the iPhone 2.1 update has apparently fixed all of these iPhone 3G connectivity issues.
On top of that, the iPhone 2.1 update also did a variety of other things.
The first was to fix bus that caused applications to crash on the iPhone.
The App Store games, and other tools now seem to run smoother, with fewer applications.
On top of that, Apple also improved battery life, and fixed security issues as well.
